I have been having weird dreams for the past 3 days. I keep dreaming of people quarreling and shouting and fighting. And those main characters in my dreams are all my family members and relatives. Gosh, does it have anything to do with the Tomb Sweeping season.

After sending Vanessa to Paya Lebar station, I had my scariest stormy encounter on the road. First was a visibility of less than 2m on the roads even with headlights on, next was the toppled tree at Paya Lebar which blocked 1.5 lanes, and then came a flash flood right outside my house upon exiting from the newly build tunnel.


I had the biggest amusement in my life when I practically saw cars swimming in the water. Look at your car or your neighbour's car and imagine the tyres being 3/4 submerged in water. That's about the height of the flood. One of the 2 lanes was totally unfit for drivers and some LTA workers were busy placing barricades/cones and diverting traffic. They should have known, that even the barricades would have been washed away by the flooding waters.


Today, I finally realised that sports cars are not everything. There was this black, sleak sports car that had HALF of its body submerged in water. I don't even recall seeing it's tyres and I'm not exaggerating!! Because of the wonderful stylish making, the car body was actually already 3/4 the height of a normal car. Plus, the driver seat is super low. So guess what happened to the poor not-so-stylish driver.

If not for the fact I was behind the wheel I would have fished out my camera phone.

Well, that was the first time I ever experienced a flood. You must have some luck like me to have driven pass the area right when the storm was the heaviest. My small little car must have been very lucky not to have water seeping in.

When I got home, I just kept pumping the brake pads, NONSTOP.

There I was, at Red Dot again. At least the party was held upstairs and not at the same spot where I had dinner last week.
